Strategic Plan

From Deep Roots to Bold Futures: Our Vision through 2030Since opening our first school in Arvin in 2011, Grow Public Schools has remained committed to a simple but powerful belief: all students deserve a high-quality education that prepares them to lead healthy, meaningful lives. Today, we serve more than 1,600 TK–8 students across two campuses in Arvin and Shafter - and by 2030, we aim to grow to four thriving schools, expanding opportunity for more families across Kern County.

In August 2025, we officially launched From Deep Roots to Bold Futures, our five-year strategic plan guiding us through 2030. The plan charts a community-rooted path for the future and outlines our desired outcomes that will shape our work ahead.

“The path to opportunity begins in schools where excellence is embraced, wellness is prioritized, and every student is empowered to thrive.”— Grow Public Schools Leadership Team

A Plan Rooted in CollaborationDeveloped over the course of a year and completed in August 2025, this strategic planning process engaged voices from across our community—staff and school leaders, parents and students, Board members and our Parent Advisory Council, and local partners in education, health, and business. Through listening sessions, surveys, and dedicated task forces, our community helped shape every step of this plan.
